Dissertation Briefing

This briefing has allowed me to get my head around the sections necessary for my dissertation.

Intro
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
chapter 3
Conclusion

I am going to keep it to three chapters if possible, this should allow me to stay focused on specific topics and not be distracted by other areas of this subject. The introduction and conclusion should be fairly straight and to the point, clearly displaying what I am aiming to investigate and how and then finally summarising my results and presenting the research.

First Tutorial

The first tutorial allowed me to go through my title idea and confirm a starting point, I was able to ask the questions I had been needing to know the answers to before I began;

1. Does my dissertation have to be an argument?
No not necessarily, it can be more of an exploration into one subject looking at both sides.

2. How many chapters?
Either 3 or 4, depending on the content.

3. How many quotes?
Around four per page is average.

This first tutorial was a good platform to begin my essay, I have been given a deadline for my introduction for the next week.

Dissertation Ideas

These are the initial ideas that I have come up with from looking back at the results of my level 5 essay investigations. It will be interesting to focus on what I learnt before and expand on this pushing it even further to see how far I can apply it to design. My three titles are quite open to change at the minute I just wanted a rough guide to begin with to get focused on where I need to begin researching.
